Abstract cAMP stimulates cell proliferation and Cl–-dependent fluid secretion, promoting the
progressive enlargement of renal cysts in autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease
(ADPKD). Intracellular cAMP levels are determined by the balance of cAMP synthesis by
