Background: Myocardial inflammation is associated with an increase in circulating
microparticles (MPs) and procoagulability. Objectives: We determined whether acute
inflammation was associated with altered full-length tissue factor (flTF) expression and
increased procoagulability in cardiomyocytic cells. Methods: This study examined the
